These photographs are the initial result of focus stacking. This first step gives me an image that contains all possible information. It overcomes the physical limitation of the camera lens. Once I have this I then proceed to use various techniques to blot out some of the information, re-work sections of the image and blend in other aspects from entirely different images. These photographs are the initial result of focus stacking. This first step gives me an image that contains all possible information. It overcomes the physical limitation of the camera lens. Once I have this I then proceed to use various techniques to blot out some of the information, re-work sections of the image and blend in other aspects from entirely different images. I deliberately collect other images solely for the purpose of blending into First Born images. Further manipulation will yield the images that are a reflection of my self. My intent is not to document how a flower looks but what it represents. The final images are a metaphor for life.
